Earth Products China Limited won the bid of the GDS Consolidation Testing System (GDSCTS) at Ocean University of China.
 
The GDSCTS system is a Rowe & Barden type consolidation instrument.
 
The GDS Advanced Consolidation Test System (GDSCTS) is a high-end, fully automated consolidation test system. GDSCTS is capable of running routine tests (such as step-by-step loading tests) or higher-level tests (such as automatic loading tests or cyclic loading tests that control hydraulic gradients). All of them are computer controlled. In fact, with the GDSLAB control software, almost all user defined tests can be done. The GDSCTS is available in either vertical drainage or radial and vertical drainage.
